After receiving the first ‑‑mammamia reports from our customers, we can already see how they affect the quality of our checks. One of the first reports we were sent was from a customer, who received an error message when using the collector for the ShelfBay Check. We weren’t able to reproduce the error quite that easily. Instead of having to ask our customer for a detailed description of his working environment, he simply sent us the output from the report generated with the ‑‑mammamia switch. This simplifies the communication process for both parties significantly.

Based on the report we received, we were able to reproduce the error very quickly. Even better, we improved the test suite and added a test that makes sure that the same error won’t occur or remain undetected even with changes to the code.
