Sometimes it is not possible to identify volumes that accommodate a LUN by name only – for instance, if there is no apparent naming convention or if the names doesn’t give any indication of this fact.

In such cases, it can be quite tedious to configure the checks for volume usage because the thresholds for LUN volumes are usually set to higher values than for normal volumes.

This is about to change in version 3.2.0: the switch  ‑‑check_only=with_lun|without_lun can be used to select specific volumes depending on wether they accommodate a LUN or not. Additionally, existing switches such as ‑‑exclude= and ‑‑include= can be used.
